As Windows 10 gets ready for another major system update, the featured apps are getting some much-needed attention.
Today, the Movies & TV app on Windows 10 for both PC’s and Mobile were updated with some subtle changes. The update brings the apps up to version 3.6.1508.0 and adds:

  • Ssupport for SRT subtitle files
  • An improved offline experience to help users quickly find downloaded content such as movies or tv episodes for offline viewing
  • Personal video folders thumbnails to show the content within each folder

While the update is a relatively minor one, it proves that the Windows team is still hard at work on delivering a more polished experience to users and it’s great to see the Windows 10 experience improving bit by bit as features are refined and new functionality is added.
