Xbox One might be doing exceptionally well in the market, but that doesn’t mean Microsoft wants to stop the party anytime soon. According to a few reports, Microsoft alongside entertainment network Machinima is reaching out to several YouTube commentators to promote its gaming console.

While Microsoft and Machinima haven’t confirmed this officially, Ron, UK Machinima Community Manager tweeted about this. “Check your emails now guys for ‘Earn an additional $3 CPM bonus for promoting the Xbox One!’. It’s the easiest/best promo we’ve ever done! – Ron (@ClickInsect) January 14, 2014.” Unfortunately, the tweet was taken down for some odd reason.

The devices and services giant wants a 30-second promo of its gaming console and is ready to shell out 3$ for every 1000 views that the video receives. Although the money isn’t too much, but considering how most YouTubers have over tens of thousands subscribers, it can still bill a handsome amount.

This seems like a great incentive for YouTube users to promote Microsoft’s Xbox One for some extra cash in return. Either this is a clever marketing strategy or a ploy to “purchase” positive reviewers. You be the judge.
