Today, Microsoft Integration celebrated a significant achievement in enterprise hybrid cloud solutions with the release of BizTalk Server 2016. Previously announced at BizTalk 360, BizTalk Server 2016 offers several on-premises application integration capabilities that help customers automate mission-critical business processes, but also showcases our strong commitment to the hybrid integration platform.

Here’s a video of a Microsoft Ignite 2016 session on the specifics of BizTalk Server 2016 and Azure Logic Apps to create a hybrid enterprise integration solution.

There are many new features available in BizTalk Server 2016 offers businesses the option of running workloads on-premises or in the cloud. Microsoft aims to provide flexibility for its enterprise customers and also to provide a fluid experience across applications, data, and processes. BizTalk Server 2016 allows for the integration with other Microsoft services, including Windows Server, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Office.

BizTalk Server 2016 also gives enterprise customers the option to connect to cloud applications through Azure Logic Apps. BizTalk Server 2016 promises faster connection to SaaS applications, easier cloud messaging across vendors and partners, and the ability to integrate with other Azure services, including Functions, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services through the BizTalk 2016 Logic Apps Adapter.
