Windows 10 Technical Preview for Windows Phone devices is in it’s earliest stage, as Microsoft announced that this preview is the earliest preview company have ever done. And because of that it doesn’t run smoothly and has certain bugs. And if you changed your mind about running your phone on Windows 10, and you want your old, stable, bug-free Windows 8.1 back, Microsoft has released the Windows Mobile Recovery tool that will allow you to revert from your current Windows 10 Technical Preview back to your old Windows 8.1 operating system.

But you should be careful while using this tool, because it’s not a true rollback tool as you might expect, and it will completely format your devices and delete all data, personal information and content from the device. So it is highly recommended to backup all your important data or content to a MicroSD card or OneDrive before you perform this operation. It is also recommended to backup your data even before you upgrade your OS from Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows 10, so if you plan to install Windows 10 on your phone, you should do a backup of your data.

Have you tried Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones yet, what is your opinion about the very first build of the technical preview, and is rolling reverting Windows 10 back to Windows 8.1 necessary? Write about all of that, and add your own comments in the comment section below, we would love to hear your opinion.
