Microsoft have released their next preview of the next version of Windows Embedded Standard. Windows Embedded Starndard 8 brings all the features of Windows 8 to embedded devices. CTP2 is the next preview in it’s development cycle, improving on bugs and introducing new features

“Windows Embedded Standard 8 enables OEMs and Enterprises to create embedded devices that can use all of the powerful features that are available in Windows 8.”

You can download your copy of Windows Embedded Standard 8 CTP2 now from the official connect website. You must agree to the terms and conditions before downloading. Microsoft expect you to offer feedback on the OS via the connect website. This new preview introduces a number of new features and improvements for developers and testers.
