Microsoft saves Saudi Airlines millions in wasted revenue with Power BI, Server, and Sharepoint

Making business decisions in large company can be difficult. Knowing where to allocate resources and how to improve efficiency can be a very nebulous task.  Saudi Airlines describes making difficult business decisions as driving a curvy road at night with no headlights. Luckily, Microsoft has lots of technology to bring clarity to these decisions and 'turn on the lights.'

Using a combination of Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Power BI for Office 365, Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, Saudi Airlines could make better, more informed decisions. Saudi Airlines had lots of data from all over the company and coming in from subsidiaries such as cargo handling, catering, and ground services. They needed to get all of the data together in a coherent way, so they could improve their business.

Using these Microsoft tools Saudi Airlines has been able to improve customer service, sales, fraud detection, marketing, and increase revenue. With the proper tools, companies like Saudi Airlines are capable of increasing their revenue while using existing products and services. These tools in the hands of executives cut through the mass of big data and return actionable results.
