As we have covered over this last week, the Windows 10 Anniversary Update introduced the ability to use extensions with the Microsoft Edge browser.  Today, in a new blog post, Microsoft is highlighting one of those extensions, and the new translation features in the Skype Preview App.

With the new Microsoft Translator Edge extension, you can translate  50 or more languages (from webpages) straight from Edge with a simple click. The Redmond giant even notes that you can copy text from within the browser and right click it to receive short passage translations.  Additionally, with the new Skype Preview App, you can have translated conversations in 8 languages, and message your friends and family in all of the languages which are supported by Microsoft translator.

To enjoy both the new Skype Preview app and the Microsoft Translator Edge Extensions, you should update your Windows device to the Windows 10 Anniversary update now! To help you out, we’ve written up a guide to getting the Anniversary Update, a guide to all the new features, and even a guide to all the new Edge extensions.
