Last month, Microsoft announced the Lumia 530, the successor to its Nokia Lumia 525 (which itself was the successor of the massively popular Nokia Lumia 520). The handset has now started to rollout at several places across the world including India. And now, the company has announced that the device will start shipping in the UK from September 4.
The handset is priced at just £60 and will be available through all operators and retailers. The smartphone comes in a range of colors, including bright orange, dark grey, and bright green.
For a refresh, the Nokia Lumia 530 sports a 4-inch FWVGA display with a rather low 480 x 854 screen resolution. Powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, the device sports 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The phone comes with a 5MP shooter camera which isn’t capable of recording HD videos. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.
