Fresh Paint app

Microsoft’s wildly popular and successful FreshPaint app, which made its debut on Windows 8 back in August of 2012, is finally available on Windows Phone 8. The app for Windows Phone 8 comes with some cool features that take advantage of your smartphone as well!

“Unleash your inner creative with Fresh Paint – the ultimate canvas for your big ideas. Fresh Paint is a fun and easy to use painting app. Create original artwork or turn photos into beautiful paintings automatically. From whimsical pictures of your friends to amazing landscapes, Fresh Paint enables you to create anything,” the app description reads.

The app is easy to use and allows you to take advantage of your smartphone’s camera to snap a picture and play with it via FreshPaint. You can do all sorts of paintings to the picture you take. The app features realistic oil paint and brushes, the ability to transform photos into paintings with artistic camera lenses, and easy sharing with a tap, sms, email, or SkyDrive.

For example, you can use the app’s Lens feature to get a live preview of your photo through various filters, such as Sketch and Oil. Pretty cool! The app is free and available now at the Windows Phone Store. You can hit the download link below to snag the app.
