It comes as no surprise that with a new Windows version comes a new sound schemes. Discovered by WP7Forum, new sounds were discovered in recent internal builds of Windows 10 Technical Preview.
Thus far, the new sounds discovered are for various operating system tasks. For example, the Messages app has a new sound for push notifications. Other new sounds include Calendar app notifications, switching inactive window to the foreground as well as the background, account switching, new system messages, notification of app messages, and Mail app notifications.
No word if Microsoft plans to add more new sounds to Windows 10, or if these sounds will make it to the final release scheduled for July of this year. We may also hear these new sounds in Windows 10 for phones, but details are nonexistent at this time. Windows 10 features quite a lot of visual changes, so it’s nice to hear some new sounds too.
