Bumping up the version to 4.7.2.5, the update brings Living Images, the ability to surround sound capture in video and several other features. However, there is a catch. Some of the new features, while managing to make use of the Lumia Cyan feature to the fullest, require the said firmware update and hardware capabilities to run.

Here’s a complete list of the new features you will find in the update.

  • Support for Living Images: Ability to add motion to your photos using camera roll and Nokia Storyteller.
  • Continuous autofocus for faster focusing.
  • Surround sound in video capture New camera roll with full resolution zoom and inline playback of videos, cinemagraphs, smart sequences and Refocus images.
  • Nokia Camera integrates with Nokia Creative Studio, and
  • Nokia Video Trimmer for editing your photos and videos.

Living Images, Continuous autofocus for faster focusing features are supported on the Lumia 930, 1520 and Lumia Icon running the Lumia Cyan software update.
