Nokia Lumia 930 gets a price cut ahead of its availability next month

Nokia Lumia 930

Microsoft launched the Lumia 930 at the annual Build 2014 conference, with June as the expected availability date. The handset was available for pre-orders on Amazon Germany and France with a £579 price tag, but it seems the device may launch with a lower price tag. According to a new rumor, Microsoft will launch the Lumia 930 with a £499 price tag, which is much lower than what Amazon is offering in various European regions.

There's no official confirmation from Microsoft about this, but the handset is rumored to go on sale next month in many countries across the globe. The handset is the international version of the Nokia Lumia Icon which was launched on the Big Red earlier this year. It rocks a beautiful 5-inch 1080p display with a Snapdragon 800 SoC and Adreno 330 GPU.

It also features the impressive 20.7MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics as well as a 2MP front-facing camera. Other features include 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, a 2,420 mAh battery and runs Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system out of the box.

There's no official availability date from Microsoft, but we'll update you as soon as we get more details about its pricing and availability.
