The leakster, @evleaks, known for his good reputation, has just tweeted out the specifications of the Nokia X, aka Nokia Normandy. The phone does have low-end specifications as was always perceived, and it will run Android 4.4 KitKat.
The leak states that the Nokia X will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 512 MB RAM, and a 1500MAh battery. The phone will have a 4” WVGA 800x480 screen, a 5MP camera, and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded thanks to the microSD card slot.
A Nokia Store will be present, and it will have the option to run third party apps. However, yesterday we learned that Google Play might also be available. The phone will support two sim cards at the same time, which is very helpful for those in the low-end market. Finally, the tweet ends by saying there will be 6 colors to choose from.

There is no word yet if Nokia will in fact announce the phone, since the Microsoft acquisition is nearing the finish line. Let’s just wait and see if Nokia announces this low-end Android phone during their Mobile Congress World 2014 press event.
