This is not the first time we've seen the specifications of the alleged Nokia X, aka Normandy. The handset has seen its fair share of rumors and has leaked several times since it first appeared. However, that doesn't mean the rumors are going to stop any time soon, not until Nokia officially unveils the handset. To add more to the existing rumors, @evleaks tweeted out the possible specifications of the Android-powered Nokia X, some of which were already known before.
According to the notorious leaker, Nokia X will rock a 4-inch WVGA display supporting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and comes with a dual-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, 512MB of RAM, 4GB expandable storage with a microSD card slot, a 5MP shooter for photos and videos and a 1,500 mAh battery to make sure there's enough juice for the handset. The well-known leaker also mentioned it will come with support for Android apps via a Nokia store as well as third-party stores, and will hit retail in six different colors. Some of these specifications were already leaked before when the handset made an unofficial appearance at a Vietnamese retailer.
The handset is rumored to see the light of the day at the Mobile World Congress later this month. Mark your calendars, as Nokia has already scheduled a press event on February 24th in Barcelona, where the company is expected to showcase the handset running a forked version of Android.
