The official 500px app for Windows Phone updated with support for more languages

Not too long ago, the folks at 500px released their official application for the Windows Phone platform. If you’re a regular 500px user, there’s an update waiting for you in the Windows Phone Store that brings several enhancements to improve the overall experience of the application.

The official 500px received an update, bumping it to version 1.1, and brings several new features to the application. The most notable one is the support for a whole loads of new languages, including Arabic, Bahasa Indonesian, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese. 

In addition, the update comes with several performance improvements to make the application faster and easier to use, along with the ability to pinch in to zoom the photographs within the application, and more. Here’s the list of new features and enhancements introduced in the latest update:

  • Performance Improvements
  • The ability to zoom photographs
  • Lock screen attribution
  • Remembers location when switching between photo and grid view
