The Red Barrels' indie survival horror title, Outlast, which was previously available on Windows PC and PS4, is now also available on Xbox One. Furthermore, its first DLC, Whistleblower is available as well via the Xbox Games Store. While Outlast is priced at $19.99, Whistleblower is available for $8.99.
Outlast is the story of an independent journalist, Miles Upshur, who breaks into the Mount Massive Asylum and discovers "a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely". The content has been labeled as having "intense violence, gore, graphic, sexual content, and strong language" by the game designer Philipe Morin.
The game was originally supposed to release on June 24, however it can be purchased now. Outlast became available on Windows PC last September. Whistleblower is Outlast's first DLC and it hit the Windows PC last month. It extends the game plot and reveals the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum's story. You can buy it via the link below.
