Outlook Mail and Calendar app gets updated Live Tiles

Microsoft has released a new update to the Windows 10 Outlook Mail and Calendar app for Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring. The app has been bumped to version 17.7167.40338, and Windows Central has spotted that the Outlook Calendar Live Tile can now display up to three upcoming events if you use the wide Live Tile setting on your home screen. You can see an example in the screenshot below:

This improved Live Tile will be welcome by all those who rely on Outlook Calendar to manage their busy schedules. As Microsoft didn’t provide a detailed changelog with the new update, there could be other new features as well along the usual bug fixes and improvements. If you’re also on the Insider Fast Ring, let us know in the comments if you spot anything new. For all the others still on the Threshold 2 (10586) branch, you should expect to get the new app along the release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update in August.
