Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 on Xbox One

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has just announced a sequel to 2007’s Pac-Man Championship Edition suitably called, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2. The game will be sold solely as a digital title and will be available on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Windows PCs via Steam.

A new sequel in the highly acclaimed PAC-MAN Championship Edition series finally comes to current generation consoles and PC! Taking highlights from the past games in the series, PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 features new eye-popping 3D graphics and funky visuals & soundtrack where players will be chomping and chasing through mazes to a whole new level of addictively fun gameplay!

PAC-MAN EVOLVED: Newest instalment of the award winning Championship Edition series features new eye-popping 3D graphics with 2D gameplay along with new features including Time Attack, Adventure Mode with fast fleeting fruit, big bad bosses, ridiculous remixed rules and more!

DEFY THE GIANT GHOST IN ADVENTURE MODE!

SCORE HIGHER WITH GHOST TRAINS: Build up to four ghost trains before chowing down for maximum chompage points.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc. in Tokyo, Japan and will feature unique 3D mazes, dynamic mazes, a new ability to bump ghosts, and in a series first, giant sized ghost boss battles.

The game will incorporate game mechanics from Pac-Man Championship Edition DX like Chain Eating which lets players build up to four ghost trains for a higher score. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will also feature the popular Score Attack mode and an all-new Adventure mode.

No release date has been set for Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 but Bandai Namco have revealed that it will come out sometime in September 2016. A trailer has been released which can be watched above.
