Minecraft is looking to entice a wider audience by putting its Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series Season Premiere out for free on various platforms.
Per a Telltale press release, fans can expect to get Episode 1 for free on a bunch of different platforms that include Xbox, PlayStation, iOS, and Android.
New players can now download Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 1: ‘The Order of the Stone’ for free on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 10 via the Windows Store, compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and compatible Android devices via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. The episode is also free to download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in North America, and will be free to download on PS4 and PS3 in Europe VERY soon as well!”
For anyone interested, prices for the Season Pass of Minecraft: Story Mode have been discounted on most of the platforms mentioned above, and retail discs will arrive in stores North America and Europe later next week. Fans on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 can begin their Telltale Minecraft adventures October 28, 2016.
