Wattpad Windows Phone App

Wattpad is a popular social platform that allows aspiring writers and avid readers to hook up and pour over millions of stories. Boasting 40 million users, 100 million stories, and a whopping 11 billion minutes spent on the platform’s properties every month, one can’t argue that Wattpad lacks a following. As of today, Wattpad also doesn’t lack an app for Windows Phone.
We should note that the app isn’t a Universal Windows app, which is surprising given the timing. And we’re sure that Windows 10 Wattpad users would love the ability to read this apps on their desktops, notebooks, tablets, and hybrids, and hopefully, Wattpad will recognize the error of their ways and address it. But for now, a Windows Phone app to rival its iOS and Android colleagues is better than nothing.

The Wattpad Windows Phone app home screen is attractive and on part with the mainstream publisher apps (and better than most).

Here’s what the app can do:

• Search popular genres and unique topics to find any story you can imagine
• Follow stories as they are written, get updates for new chapters
• Connect with writers and other readers. Leave comments on stories and discuss the newest plot twists!
• Save to your library and share what you’re reading with your friends
• Write your own stories. Share your writing with the supportive Wattpad community
Features:
• Download stories and books to the app so you can read offline
• Personalized recommendations of stories to read
• Stay connected to your stories with a newsfeed of updates and comments from friends
• Sync all your stories and ebooks between your phone, tablet, and computer

So, if you’re into fiction from new writers (and some well-known authors tossed into the mix) in a number of genres from fantasy to science fiction to romance, then you should definitely check Wattpad out. If you’re a writer and want to get feedback on your stories, then Wattpad is probably a good choice for you, as well.
