Reserve your Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 at a Microsoft Store for $0

Surface 2

When the Surface RT and Surface Pro were launched last year, Microsoft offered users a reservation card that allowed them to snag a Surface device on the day of its release. Now, Microsoft is offering a slightly same method for consumers interested in the new Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2.

Microsoft’s retail stores are offering reservations for a Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2 for free. When the device is available, you can snag the device and pay the entire amount. This a great way to ensure you get your hands on the Surface 2 before it gets sold out on the day it is made available.

The Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 are set for release on October 22nd. The Surface Pro 2 starts at $899 and is available in a variety of configurations, including 64GB storage and 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and 4GB RAM, and also 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with 8GB of RAM. You can’t reserve a 512GB model as of right now. The Surface 2 starts at $449.

Head over to your local Microsoft Store to see if you can reserve a Surface 2. Let us know in the comments below if you were able to successfully reserve a Surface 2 and what store location you went to. Apparently, a few Microsoft Stores in Southern California are allowing reservations, at the time of this post.
