Microsoft has made available Skype for Windows build 5.11 Beta, which brings along improved Facebook integration as well as send and receive IM messages via your Microsoft Account. Skype now comes with support for six new languages!

“You can now sign in directly with your Facebook account log in, without needing to first create a Skype account,” Microsoft indicates in the official blog post. Skype 5.11 users can also sign in using Microsoft Account in order to send/receive IM messages to those who are using Messenger, Xbox, Hotmail, or Outlook.com. Skype is now supported in six new languages such as Thai, Croatian, Slovenian, Serbian, Catalan and Slovak, which brings the total languages supported to 38! Skype 5.11 also features a “refreshed and flattened” user interface which provides a simpler and less cluttered look, according to the company. Microsoft has also removed the online user counter, which was placed at the bottom of the Contacts list, in an attempt to unclutter the interface and make more room for friends within the contacts list.
