Skype Version 6.8 iOS Update

The Skype team updated their iOS yesterday, continuing their trend of providing excellent cross-platform support to iOS and Android users. Version 6.8 for iOS focuses on sharing, specifically on making it easier and simpler to share content.

Simply put, the new Skype app on iOS integrates into the iOS sharing infrastructure to offer sharing via Skype as an option for other iOS apps. Just make sure Skype is turned on as a sharing option (swipe to “More” in the sharing dialog, then Activities, and turn on Skype sharing).
That’s all there is, folks. Nothing too exciting, but proof positive that Microsoft remains serious about supporting operating systems beyond just its own Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile.
