Skype for Android has received an update today, enabling a new feature that will roll out in the coming weeks. You will now be able to connect Skype to your phone's address book.
"In the coming weeks you’ll have the option to connect Skype to your phone’s address book. Just verify your phone number when prompted, and your friends will start showing up in your Skype contacts. For your privacy, you can easily choose whether we keep looking for your friends and whether they can find you from the settings," the app description states.
This feature will be enabled in the coming weeks, making it easier for you to sync your phones' address book with Skype. Currently, you must manually add numbers into Skype for Android. For those of you who own an Android device, hit the download link below to snag the updated Skype app.
