Skype puts MKTO fans in touch with their musical heroes

Pop duo MKTO made dreams come true for six people when they used Skype to talk directly with some of their biggest fans. Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller teamed up with Skype and invited fans to get in touch with video messages. Six fans were then selected to hold one-on-one video chats with the pair on tour.

The Ones To Watch with Skype tour saw MKTO taking to the road, and Braylyn Skidmore was just one of the fans who got a chance to chat with her heroes:

“I was going through a tough time and the covers they put up on YouTube around 2011 got me through everything. They’re the reason for the smile on my face, and being able to talk with them gave me the biggest smile I have ever had! Thank you so much for the opportunity!”

The Ones to Watch program is a venture that aims to promote up and coming artists in all genres of music. Fans are given the opportunity to see new acts on the tours which are backed b Skype.
