Status Tiles app lets you pin connectivity settings on the start screen for quick access Written by Hammad Saleem on January 02, 2014 - 08:54AM
Accessing connectivity settings on Windows Phone 8, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc, may not be as simple as it is on Android and iOS. If you're one of those people who want to simplify this process on your Windows Phone handset, give the Status Tiles app a shot. It uses official Microsoft icons so you don't have to worry about weird icons popping up on your Start screen.
Status Tiles is a nifty little application for Windows Phone that lets users pin different connectivity settings on the smartphone's home screen for quick access. This can help users save time and make sure you can get access to them with minimum effort. What's more interesting is that it shows the status of the settings as well. For instance, turning on any settings such as WiFi will show a green bar under the icon of the setting, while the indicator is grayed out when it's disabled.
If that's not enough for you, it also allows users to enable screen orientation with a single tap. Unfortunately, this feature is not available for every Windows Phone user out in the wild, but only for those who are running the latest Windows Phone 8 Update 3.
Simply head over to the Windows Phone Store and download this application for your handset using the link given below.
