Teen Patti Indian Poker and BoxTV arrive in the Windows Phone Store Written by Manish Singh on February 22, 2014 - 07:38AM
Many new Indian apps are making their way to the Windows Phone Store. The latest additions include the popular poker app, Teen Patti - Indian Poker, and the very useful movies and TV show streaming app, BoxTV.
While people in the western hemisphere rock services like Netflix and Hulu, back here in India, streaming movies and TV shows haven't attained much traction yet. This is what makes BoxTV even more useful. Coming from a reputed firm, Times Internet, BoxTV brings both Indian and foreign content to your device.
The service offers about 5,000 hours of free movies and TV shows and claims that it can go up to 17,000 hours if you subscribe to a monthly plan. The app is pretty well made and navigating through the various sections is fun, but in my brief testing of the app, it did close on its own for no reason. Plus, sometimes the service forgets your current session and asks you to login again. But overall, BoxTV is pretty cool and is worth a try.
The second app, Teen Patti - Indian Poker is a very popular poker gaming service. A game of cards that lets you play against four different people. You can even play with your Facebook friends. The game also facilitates public rooms where you can play all day. The app even lets you create private rooms and interact with more players. It has been around for over a week now and has been getting flaring reviews.
You can snag away both the apps from the Download links below. Want us to write about your app? Tweet to us, or reach us via the contact page.
