The most expensive Surface Book model is already out of stock

Call it strong demand or call it limited inventory, either way, Microsoft’s newest and most expensive Surface Book model is already out of stock on the company’s online retail store (United States). Those looking to get their hands on the $2,699 512GB, Core i7 with 16GB of RAM will have to wait a tad bit longer.
Other models of the Surface Book remain available for pre-order, including the entry-level 128GB Core i5 with 8GB of RAM for $1,499, all the way up to the 256GB Core i7 with 8GB of RAM for $2,099. All models feature a 13.5-inch PixelSense touch-screen display with a resolution of 3000×2000. The Surface Pen comes included with each purchase.
