Tubecast for Windows Phone updated, brings support for YouTube API v3

Tubecast for Windows has picked up yet another update this month, bringing support for YouTube’s API version 3. Furthermore, the update brings a number of bug fixes as well, including a fix for the latest Chromecast firmware, and lots more. 

Here’s the complete change log for the latest update on Windows Phone:

  • API v3 100% ready.
  • Fix for the Chromecast new firmware.
  • Due to complaints => rollback full area click for the play/pause button.
  • Fix some downloads with no sound.
  • New “incredible” red color original YouTube.
  • Samsung ATIV S possible bugfix for HD playing in portrait.
  • Various bug fixes.

For those of you who don’t know, YouTube will discontinue support for API version 2 on April 20th. With support for the latest API version, Tubecast will be able to offer users with a better YouTube experience which includes search and discovery, content creation, video playback, account management, and viewer statistics.
