Thanks to our resident Microsoft insider the WalkingCat, we’re getting news about two new services that could be joining the Microsoft fold and making an appearance at today’s big October event for the company.

According to the often on-the-money information leaker, @h0x0d, two new apps have appeared in the Windows Store by the name of MSTodo aka Project Cheshire and Whiteboard.

Project Cheshire according to its description, is “a brand new and simple, yet incredibly focused, to-do app that helps you get stuff done.” The app is early stages and the developers ask that users stay tuned for updates which should be coming soon.

As for Whiteboard, well there isn’t much there to write about. The Windows Store location houses a single blank screen shot and a vague seven-word description of the app that follows : The intelligent, connected, interactive whiteboard from Microsoft.

Both apps appear in the Windows Store but only Project Cheshire is available for download. It will be interesting to see how the two new apps play into Microsoft overall productivity pitch today or down the line.
