The unannounced Lumia 640 spotted on Anatel, headed to Brazil

Mobile World Congress is just around the corner, and Microsoft will be there for the big event. There’s no flagship device on the horizon, but we may get to see some new additions to the Lumia line up, mostly catering to the low-end/mid-range market. And there’s a possibility that we may get to see some new Lumia devices at the event, with one of them being the Lumia 640.

Not too long ago, a mysterious new Lumia device, with a model number RM-1109, was spotted on Brazilian certification authority Anatel. Reports suggest it’s the upcoming Lumia 640, which has been mentioned in the documents from Anatel as well. The folks at Janela Tech mentioned the device will come with dual-SIM support as well as an integrated digital TV, and a 2,500 mAh battery.

There’s no word about what the handset will offer, or if it will be exclusive to Brazil — there’s a possibility that it will launch in global markets, especially the developing ones. Mobile World Congress takes place in the first week of March, and we’ll make sure you get every bit of information from the show floor.
