Currently on Windows 10 devices, only first-party Microsoft apps can send notifications during the user-specified Quiet Hours. That’s about to change according to a post in Microsoft’s User Voice feedback forums which says that the company has begun testing the change with Windows Insiders.

“We just enabled this in the next Insider fast-ring flight of the Creators Update! All third-party alarm apps will break through quiet hours now, just like the first-party alarm app!” the post says. “Thank you everyone for letting us know that this feature was important to you!”

Have you been wanting this change made or do you prefer to have as many apps as possible locked out of notifications during Quiet Hours? Let us know in the comments below.
