Windows 10 Technical Preview: New build with "new features you'll like" coming soon

Microsoft has promised a fast track to new builds of the Windows 10 Technical Preview, but early adopters have been kept waiting, but that wait looks to be almost over.  Word got out this week that a potential new TP build had a fairly serious “blocking bug”, and the decision was made to hold it back, but now, according to Gabe Aul, a new candidate is in testing:

Aul refused to share the blocking bug info, saying it would just “turn into a debate”, but says it’s fixed in the new build.

And in some other news gleaned from Aul’s Twitter, Microsoft still hasn’t decided whether or not to add a “ludicrously fast” release ring, but for now they’re going to “increase the pace of Fast”, once they let people know to move out of Fast into the Slow ring lest they get hurt.

For now, expect an announcement in the Insider Hub on the changes to the meanings of “Fast” and “Slow”, and clear the decks for a new build incoming!  As always, stay tuned to WinBeta for the latest.
