Microsoft has updated the Mail, Calendar, People, and Messaging apps for the upcoming Release Preview (Release Candidate) of Windows 8, the company’s next generation operating system. These apps are no longer considered “previews” as they were labeled as such in the Consumer Preview build of Windows 8.

These updates Mail, Calendar, People, and Messaging apps are currently available in latest internal builds of Windows 8 and feature interface improvements, new features, and no longer have the “app preview” label. Microsoft has also updated the Photo, Reader, and Music app to “support the latest Windows 8 changes.” These updated apps are expected to make their debut in the Release Preview, scheduled for early June.
