Mini Start

Microsoft is just about ready to wrap up Windows 8.1 Update 2. According to sources, Update 2 is set to hit RTM Escrow sometime this week, with a final RTM build to be selected soon. Not only that, but according to the same source Microsoft are planning to announce Windows 8.1 Update 2 at the company’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2014 in July. Exciting times for everyone at Microsoft.

WZOR, the source of these rumors, has today claimed that Microsoft will announce Windows 8.1 Update 2 at it’s annual WPC conference in July. Not only that, but Microsoft may be planning to show off an early preview of Windows 9 too, we doubt it will be available to the public, but information at this time is a little scarce on the whole front.

WZOR also claims that Windows 8.1 Update 2 is currently being signed off as we speak, which means an RTM is most definitely imminent. Could we see a leak soon? Who knows, but since WZOR is back it could be sooner than later.

WZOR

It’s currently unclear when Microsoft will release Update 2, rumors have been pinpointing August/September, and with an announcement in July, August/September is sounding more likely.

Of course, although WZOR is known for leaking correct information in the past, we must ask you to take everything you’ve read here as a rumor as it could be false.
