The official Windows Phone app for Mac users was recently bumped to version 3.1, which brings support for Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Microsoft unveiled Windows Phone 8.1 earlier this month at Build, which is expected to reach all the existing Windows Phone devices in the coming months. Nokia has already announced a couple of new handsets powered by the latest Windows Phone 8.1, including the Lumia 630, 635 and 930, which will begin shipping in May.
It's also in time for the Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview which is expected to roll out next week. Microsoft's Joe Belfiore recently tweeted the developer preview will be out in the first part of April, but did not provide an exact date.
Here's the complete change log:
- Updated to support Windows Phone 8.1 devices.
- Added drag and drop support for .DNG files to Browse Device UI.
