Earlier today we reported that Microsoft is planning to launch a new build of Windows Server 2016 for the public some time next week, and now screenshots of what could be the next technical preview build have leaked onto the web, showcasing the build in all its unfinished glory. The build in question is 10514, and is pretty similar to the last technical preview of Windows Server we received.
From the screenshots, we can tell that this build is from the public development branch th2_release, which for those who don’t know is the same branch Insiders received 10512 from for mobiles recently. TH2 (Threshold 2) is set to launch in October, but Windows Server 2016 isn’t rumored for release until early next year. Regardless, TH2 is the next update in line for Windows 10 users, and Microsoft is expected to kick off a preview for TH2 very soon.

In fact, usually with the release of a Windows Server 2016 build comes a new client build too. So we could potentially see a brand new Insider TH2 build launch as early as next week, that would be a nice surprise for Insiders who are eagerly waiting to get their hands on a new build of Windows 10.
