Windows Store for Windows 10 adds search filters in latest update

Jonny Caldwell

Microsoft has just updated the Windows Store today with a small update. The update adds at least one small change to improve the digital shopping experience on Windows 10 devices.
One noteworthy change is the addition of filters in search. This means a customer can, for example, type “batman”, then he or she can choose to search through apps, movies and TV shows, and music from below the top suggested apps.
Microsoft also recently launched their new Windows Store for Business, which allows businesses, IT decision makers, and administrators to find, acquire, manage, and distribute Windows apps. They also recently made changes to reduce comment spam.
Customers who don’t already see these changes can open the Store app, click their profile icon, and click Downloads and updates, then the Store should update itself.
If you notice any other new changes to the Windows Store, be sure to let us know in the comments below. Also be sure to share your thoughts on new changes and what you think Microsoft could do to improve the overall experience of it.
Thanks Marllon for the tip!
