The World Cup is coming, prepare with FIFA 2014 Brazil for Xbox 360

Football, or soccer if you live in the US, is gearing up for its biggest moment. Nations will collide when the World Cup kicks off in Brazil, and EA plans to have everything ready for you to simulate the action. There is a catch for all of you early adopters, though.

EA has announced FIFA 2014 World Cup Brazil, but the game will launch on Xbox 360 and PS3, both last generation consoles. The game is coming to your living room in mere months.

“The world’s largest sporting event is almost here and EA SPORTS is ready to celebrate. Today, EA SPORTS FIFA announced that EA SPORTS 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will hit shelves starting April 15 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3”, the game studio announces. The actual event begins on June 12, for the uninitiated.

The new version is slated to contain numerous improvements --100 new animations according to EA. The company plans to release further details during the build-up to launch, but for now, you can check out the video preview below.
