Xbox One SmartGlass

Xbox One SmartGlass, Wikipedia and Lync 2013 apps for Windows Phone were recently updated, and each app update introduces a few new enhancements and bug fixes to improve the overall experience of the mentioned apps.

The unofficial Wikipedia app for Windows Phone by Rudy Huyn was bumped to version 2.3.0.2. The new update doesn't have a lot to offer, but it brings support for Cortana. This means Windows Phone 8.1 users can make use of Cortana in the app as well.

If you're a proud owner of a Xbox One, as well as a Windows Phone handset, you should have Xbox One SmartGlass app installed on your device, which give users the ability to connect and control their Xbox One. "Xbox One SmartGlass is the perfect companion app for your Xbox One, both in your living room and on the go. Connect and control your Xbox One. Stay connected with the games and gamers you like. And add a new dimension to your console entertainment with the mobile device you already own," the app description reads.

The update is a minor one, and comes with bug fixes on board. Even if it doesn't introduce any new feature, bug fixes are always welcomed as they improve the overall experience of the app.

Lastly, Microsoft's Lync 2013 for Windows Phone was also updated to version 5.4.1087.0, and comes with user experience improvements and bug fixes under the hood.

If you're a regular user of any app mentioned above, head over to the Windows Phone store and grab them.
