NVIDIA releases WHQL Game Ready Driver version 372.70 with Fallout 4 and other fixes

One of the more important pieces of software on any gaming machine is the GPU driver, which can impact both gaming performance and overall stability. For anyone running an NVIDIA GeForce GPU, the release of new Game Ready Drivers is always a big deal, and for those folks today is a good day.

NVIDIA released WHQL Game Ready Driver version 372.70 this morning, and here’s the complete changelog:

Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new
releases, including Virtual Reality games. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team
works up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is
included for the best gameplay on day one.

Game Ready
Provides the optimal experience for World of Warcraft: Legion, Battlefield 1: Open Beta,
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and Quantum Break on STEAM.

New Features
– Enabled Fast Sync for Maxwell GPUs and the Extended, Clone, and Surround multimonitor
configurations.

Application SLI Profiles
No SLI profiles were added with this version.

3D Vision Profiles
Added or updated the following 3DV profiles:

  • Battlefield 1 – not recommended
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – upgraded to excellent

3D Compatibility Mode Profiles
No compatibility mode profiles were added with this version.
