Windows 10 build 10056 was sent out to Microsoft Partners this past Wednesday, and includes a whole tonne of additional changes over the last leaked build, which was 10051. Mostly, build 10056 includes UI adjustments and changes, in preperation for BUILD.
Screenshots from ITHome reveal that the ‘Personalize’ tab in the Settings app is now working, and gives the user additional options over how the UI looks. You can ajust the Start Menu transparency, change the color of your theme and accent (like on Windows Phone) and more.
This is a good step in the right direction for users who have been complaining about the UI. In build 10056, the taskbar has also been updated to reflect a more modern UI. It’s now transparent and the Cortana search bar is now the full height of the taskbar. Changes have also been made to window borders, making them more sleek looking.
