Windows Blue features Windows Phone-like ‘slide to shutdown’ feature

Windows Blue just keeps on giving doesn’t it? It appears that Windows Blue will feature a slide to shutdown feature, much like what is seen on Windows Phone. Currently, the feature hasn’t been enabled by default, but can be accessed by launching a .exe file found in the System32 folder.

From the recent Windows Blue leak, it’s very clear that the Windows team are focused on adopting some of Windows Phones cool features. So far, Windows Blue has ‘stolen’ the small tile size, slide to shutdown and Bing search. All of those features are still in development on Windows Blue.

You can access this feature yourself by looking for SlideToShutdown.exe in the System32 folder on Windows Blue. As per usual, we do not recommend you download leaked software as it is incomplete and could destroy your PC.
