Xbox One February update has started to roll out!

Major Nelson, Xbox’s Larry Hryb, announced that the February Xbox One update is now rolling out. Earlier this month, Hryb announced there would be some major improvements and features coming out based on user feedback. Hryb points out that the newest Xbox One update features the following features on the Xbox One:

  • See who’s in a Party
  • Gamerscore Leaderboard
  • Re-arrange Pins on Home and access them offline
  • Updating Activity Feed on Xbox One
  • Hide games from “ready-to-install” list
  • “Use a code” shortcut in the Xbox One Store
  • Joinable Twitch Broadcasts
  • Improvements to Suggested Friends
  • Program the hotkeys for your Xbox One Chatpad

In addition to these new Xbox One features, Hryb wanted everyone to know that the Xbox app would be getting some new features as well. Hryb pointed out these new features that are available on both Xbox One and the Xbox app for Windows 10:

  • Avatar Store
  • Xbox News
  • Xbox Accessories App
  • Improvements to Trending
  • Suggested friends

The Xbox app will also be getting a new exclusive feature, Compact Mode. Compact Mode allows you quickly switch between your friends view, party, messages, and activity alerts to keep you in the loop to what’s going on while you are busy doing other things on your Windows 10 PC.
