Microsoft announced this morning that their second annual Microsoft Edge Web Summit will take place on April 4th, 2016 in San Francisco.

The one-day conference will include technical talks from the engineers who built Microsoft’s latest web browser, hands on learning in breakout sessions, Q&A’s, workshops, and opportunities to network and socialize. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about Edge’s recently open-sourced JavaScript engine ChakraCore and the roadmap for the year ahead.

The Edge Web Summit will occur immediately after (that is, the Monday following the previous week’s) Build 2016, Microsoft’s conference aimed at developers. Registration for the Edge Web Summit will be free but is not yet open. More details will be announced later this month by Microsoft, including when registration will open, speaker lineup, and venue.
