Angry Birds Star Wars II hits Windows Phone 8 one day earlier than iOS and Android

Angry Birds publisher Rovio has decided to release their second Angry Birds Star Wars game a day earlier than rival mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android. The game is now live in the Windows Phone Store for phones running Windows Phone 8 and the game is compatible with 1GB and 512MB RAM devices.

The game’s HD graphics are optimized for Windows Phone 8 and also come packed with optional in-app purchases. The game focuses mainly on the Star Wars prequels. The character Darth Maul has been added with his classic double-bladed lightsaber. The game also features a new environment, NabooThe game is Xbox Live compatible, which means that you can get achievements to compete with your friends.
