ASUS confirms VivoTab Note 8 tablet manual picture

There has been a recent leak by German site Mobile Geek of a new 8 inch tablet, the ASUS VivoTab Note 8. Today, ASUS have published the manual of the ASUS VivoTab Note 8 tablet on their site, indicating there will in fact be a tablet in the 8 inch form.

The Windows 8.1 running tablet will have an 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core CPU running with 2 GB of RAM. The 8 inch tablet will sport a 1,280 x 800 touchscreen, which may have Wacom Digitizer support, and will have stylus support. The VivoTab Note 8 has a 5 MP rear and 1.2 MP front camera, a microSD slot, and will have 3950mAh for its battery capacity.

Rumors say that the VivoTab Note 8 will come in two sizes, 32 GB and 64 GB and will be expected to go for $299, rivaling against the Dell Venue 8 Pro and other 8 inch tablets. We still don’t know when the product will be announced and what the final pricing of it will be. We will update when more information arises.
