It’s here! A new Windows 10 desktop build for Windows Insiders. Microsoft released build 10565 to the fast ring today, featuring a number of exciting improvements and features over the last public preview build which was build 10547. Some of these new features were evident in the recently leaked build of 10558 (watch our hands-on of that build here).

Nonetheless, the release of Windows 10 build 10565 brings forth new improvements to Cortana, Microsoft Edge, the Messaging app, colored title bars, and more. We’ve embedded our hands-on video of the build below for your viewing pleasure.

This build is part of the Threshold 2 development branch, and Threshold 2 is set to launch in early November meaning this build should be pretty stable. Of course, considering it’s still pre-release software, we advise you be cautious when installing on your primary machines.
