Today, Microsoft has released Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 14379 to smartphone users on the Fast Ring. Let’s take a look at what’s been fixed and improved with this latest build ahead of the release of the Anniversary Update on August 2nd.

Here’s the list:

  • We fixed an issue that could result in a stray focus rectangle becoming visible in certain apps, such as Groove or Cortana, after bringing up the keyboard.
  • We fixed an issue where the aspect ratio of images on live tile wasn’t preserved if they need to be shrunk, leading to them appearing stretched.

As you can see, there isn’t too much to look at, as expected.

Since we are so close to the release of this big update to the public, Microsoft is focusing on putting the final polishes in place. With this build you’ll find Live Tile images to look a little nicer if the images were too large. An odd issue resulting in a rectangle being displayed in some apps has also been resolved.

You can head over to Settings > Update & Security to grab this update if you’re on the Fast Ring.
