On Wednesday, Microsoft announced that it will launch the Surface Pro 3 tablet in 25 more regions. Launched in May earlier this year, the new Surface tablet is only available in US, Japan and Canada. But soon that will change, as starting August 28, the tablet will become available in Australia, China, United Kingdom and 22 other places.

Microsoft has announced that all the variants of Surface Pro 3 will be heading to 25 new markets. The regions include, Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Kingdom.

The company says that it will sell the tablets through its authorized device sellers, Microsoft Stores and other Surface retail partners. You might want to check your local Microsoft Store to see if they have started taking pre-orders of the tablet. In addition, the company will also release Surface Pro 3 Docking Station, which will be available in the US starting August 15th, and hitting retailers located at other regions in the next month.

For a refresh, the Surface Pro 3 sports a 12-inch  ClearType display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1440. Powered by fourth-generation Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 “Haswell” processor, the tablet comes with 4GB or 8GB RAM, as well as 128 GB to 512GB of storage. Of course, you can plug-in your external HDD or USB pen drive to add more storage, and there is a microSD card slot as well.

The Surface Pro 3 has been well received by majority of users and critics. Are you excited about the iconic tablet arriving at your place? Sound off in the comments.
